DRV2700EVM-HV500: noise

Hello,

I have a DRV2700EVM-HV500 and connected it using an external DC voltage signal as specified in the manual, with no load attached.

However, the output waveform (shown below) appears very noisy, although the input signal is constant.

Is this behavior normal for the device?
Should I be doing something differently?

Hello,

I have a few questions.

Can you clarify what you are scoping in these captures?
Can you also share how you have the EVM hardware configured and how you are supplying the waveform?
Are you applying DC input signal?

Hi,

I measure the output of the EVB(with diffrential probe 1/100).

I disconnect JP1 PWM , and connct DC signal directly to TP1

Hi ,

I provided 0V to 3.3V

when 0V - the output is 150 V

when 3.3V - the output is 0V

I see. This may be expected as a capacitive load would help regulate this signal.. You can test with your load attached.
