Hello,

I was wondering if it posible to to dual Motor Position Control with LaunchXL-F28069M and BoostXL-DRV8323RS. I am trying to run instaspin lab13f to accomplish this. I have already been able to run lab13b and the prerequiste labs doing single motor position control. I see that the DRV8323RS does have the dual motor hal files, ex: hal_2mtr.c. So, I am wondering if this setup is even possible. If so where could I find the 2mtr hal files for the DRV8323RS.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

In the thread, Steve mentions:

"you can use MotorWare but you need some effort for building up dual motor project with HAL files in the www.ti.com/lit/zip/slvc705. You need to revise a lab10d or lab11d project with the downloaded DRV8323 HAL files."

I support the gate drivers on the hardware side, so if more information than this is needed I will need to loop in somebody from the software side.

Yeah I saw that, I was hoping that you have added more support for instaspin with the DRV8323RS. I will try to go that route but just seems like a ton of work.

Yes unfortunately process would be more manual.
