will DRV8161DGSR,DRV8162DGSR and DRV8162LDGSR operate normally in case of cold cranking condition shown below?

Why DRV8161DGSR part is having lesser cost than DRV8162LDGSR

Also can you please confirm any other major difference between DRV8161DGSR and DRV8162LDGSR other than voltage and current sense

Hey Pranjali,

These cold crank voltage when GVDD voltage is below GVDD_UV threshold will not be operational. Please check UV threshold for the parts on the device datasheet.

Main differences between DRV8161 and DRV8162 are:

1) GVDD and BSTUV threshold (DRV8162L has lower threshold for potential operation with logic FETs)

2) CSA vs no CSA

3) Separate GVDD for HS and LS for potential functional safety cutoff switch implementation

4) Device pinout
