Can the DRV8818EVM, be used with external command from FPGA , using its board connectors pins?

Is the STEP,ENABLE  pins are input or output?

If positive can you explain how to do it?

    Hi Eli,

    Yes, the DRV8818EVM can be used with external commands. To do so requires removing the resistors on the EVM R101 through R109. This isolates the microcontroller from the DRV8818, allowing external control. The external signals can then be connected at either the test points or J6
