LM5101 high side driver at low frequencies

I would like to know what is the minimum frequency at which I can run the LM5101 high side driver? Is there a built in chopper on the bootstrap circuit to refresh the high side drive voltage to overcome gate leakage, or does the gate leakage start to affect switch performance at some low frequency.

What is the lowest driver frequency this chip could operate at? Could it work at 10Hz? 1Hz? 0.5Hz? DC?

    Hi Nick

    I think it also related to the BST cap and the load cap(MOSFET). It will be a workable frequency if only the MOSFET can be fully driven during all the possible PWM duration in the real application. DC should be a non-stable scenario and not recommended for this bootstrap predriver.

    This device should support to as lower as 0.1kHz according to the datasheet test waveform. And usually a much higher PWM frequency like >10k will help to reduce the audio noise.
