DRV8301 KIT DC-DC CONVERTER

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8301, DRV8301-69M-KIT, DCH010505S

Hi. I am designing a 3-phase bridge with DRV8301 and I want to use a DC-DC converter for the supply voltages of the peripheral chips. Does anyone know the DC-DC converter module used on the DRV8301-69M KIT?

Thanks.

  • Hi George,

The DRV8301 contains an internal DC-DC converter. The schematics for the board are on line at:

    http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/sloc292

You can also find them by go to http://www.ti.com/tool/drv8301-69m-kit

Once there scroll down to Relate Products Software and select "Show More" . The DRV830x Hardware Development Package will then appear.

  • Hi Rick,

Thanks for the information. I know that the DRV incorporates a buck converter but I jut wanted know if there is any additional except from that. But, as I can see it uses only that and an isolated  DCH010505S which is also supplied from the DRV. So everything is clear. Thank you for your help and all the information.

    Regards,

    George
