DRV8305: Differences in docments

Hello,

There are different connections of the current amplifiers (SPx, SNx) in the datasheet of DRV8305 and in the development board BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM.

Datasheet:

SNx input is connected to SL_X.
SPx input is connected to GND

BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM:

SNx input is connected to GND
SPx input is connected to SL_X.

Please would you like to make clear which is the true.

Both the two way will be fine. Just the outputs reversed. Anyway I will let Nick who design the EVM comments here.

Hi Ivan,

Where do you see in BOOSTXL-DRV8305EVM that SNx is connected to GND and SPx is connected to SLx?

Either method can work, just will determine whether the amplifier is inverting or non-inverting. Inverting is the most typical configuration (SN to SL, SP to GND).

Hi, Nick,

In fact, i did some mistake, sorry for it. I saw this in TIDA-00771, (www.ti.com/.../TIDA-00771. It is nornal to expect inverting, I thought that there is something else in DRV8305. It's alright now.
