Is it possible to use the DRV2665/DRV2667 with an external boost regulator instead of using the internal one?

Hi Matthew,

Yes, you can do this by simply connecting your boost to the PVDD line. This is the pin that powers the amplifiers in the DRV2667/5. This is why we short the BST pin to the PVDD pin.

Connect the boost converter pins as below:

REXT - Float

PUMP - Float

FB - VDD

BST - Float

Thanks Kelly. In this configuration, how should the internal boost pins (SW, BST, FB, PUMP, REXT) be handled?
