DRV2625EVM-CT: Haptics Control Console 1.5.4 crashes on clicking 'Connect'

Hi,

I am trying to use Haptics Control Console 1.5.4 with a DRV2625EVM-CT. The haptics GUI recognizes the DRV EVM. I put the DRV EVM in GUI mode and click connect on the GUI. However, the minute I click on connect the app shuts down and the USB port complains about device malfunction.

I saw this forum post from 2017

Based on this, I ran the HCC 1.5.4 in windows 7 compatible mode (I have a windows 10 PC). This did not change the behavior.

Can someone please help?

Hi, Hrishi,

Unfortunately, this problem comes from a driver issue with the usb assignment. So it also does not work in compatibility mode. You would require Windows 7 to use this EVM correctly.
