DRV10866: Lock protection feature

Hi, team,

My customer checks the lock protection. He get the attached wave form while motor is locked. Current is following for about 3-A and FG output ON and OFF irregularly during locking. Could you please give me advice why the current is following and FG output even if motor is locked.DRV10866_LockProtection.xlsx

FG swithing indicates that the driver thinks the motor is still spinning and thus it keeps driving the motor. However current is still high. Let me talk with my coworkers and get back on this.

I would suggest the following:
1) Place a capacitor between each motor phase and ground to remove noise on the phase pins that could stop lock from entering. This cap should be around 1 to 5 nF.
2) Make sure when the motor is stalled, it is stalled with not a lot of wiggle that could trick the driver into thinking the motor is spinning
3) If the above 2 solutions dont work, please send me the motor phase current and phase voltage scope captures during the fault instance.
