I'm wondering if there are no labs for the card DRV8873S that allow to program the card and not only configure it

There are no labs. The EVM is preprogrammed to operate with the GUI supplied.

Can we program it with Code composer and Matlab( Simulink), and can create our own code with this card ?

Hi 6018937,

Yes, you can create your own code. The mcu must be programmed with the 4 pin J3 connector.

In addition, we do not provide documentation regarding the communication from the GUI to the EVM.

Another option is to remove the resistors between the mcu and the J1 header. Then you can connect your own mcu to the J1 header.

Hi 6018937,

Yes with Code composer.

Once the code is created, you need hardware to program through the Spy-Bi-Wire connector.

Not sure about Matlab.

You cannot program the EVM through the USB connection. The USB is used for GUI communications only.

To program the mcu on the EVM perform a web search for "Use Launchpad as a Programmer". There are many examples on the web.

One such example can be found here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/motor-drivers/f/38/p/456155/1644869?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=how%20to%20reprogram%20drv8308evm#1644869 Look for the DRV8308EVM_TEST.pdf, which shows how the launchpad is connected to a DRV8308.

I have this kit TMDSDOCK28035 , can we use it to program the card enstead the Launchpad, and do you have this card available TIDA-00365(http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-00365#0)? if is it available I'll buy it.

Hi 6018937,

I don't know if the TMDSDOCK28035 can be used, but I suspect it cannot. The TMDSDOCK28035 is intended for Piccolo F2803x devices.
