Hi user5287685,

The EVM placed a capacitor on RREF to keep the DAC voltage stable. On the EVM changing the DAC voltage simulates changing the RREF resistor from 30k to >1MOhm.

If using a single resistor to GND as shown, there is no need to add a capacitor.
