DRV8873S-Q1EVM: Could not read currents less than 1A

Part Number: DRV8873S-Q1EVM

Hello TI,

Currently we are using DRV8873S-Q1EVM 10A  H-Bridge to move a Bidirectional motor in PWM mode. I am changing my slew rate and some other configurations  using SPI.

My SPI configuratios are as follows:

IC1 control register -> 0x045D

IC2 control register -> 0x064D

IC3 control register -> 0x08C0

IC4 control register -> 0x0AB

I could read the currents above 1A in both directions (IPROPI1, IPROPI2), but if my current is less than 1A , I could not read anything. When I tried to measure the voltages across the sense resistors, the voltages are very small because of smaller currents. What could be the reason ?

Does my SPI configuratios  have any effect on the current measurements? If not, what else I can try to measure currents less than 1A?
