DRV8872-Q1: can control BLDC motor with speed controller by Brushed DC driver?

Hi,

I'm trying to control the BLDC motor for the first time.

I have a BLDC motor with speed controller.  

Is there any problem to control a BLDC motor with speed controller by brushed motor driver (such as DRV887x-Q1)?

    Hi Pabian,

    Is the BLDC motor 3 phase or single phase?

    If single phase, there should be no problem.

    If 3 phase, you may need (3) DRV8872-Q1 to control the motor.
    What is the desired voltage and current? Do you need an automotive version?

    There may be better options available.
