I'd like to confirm about DRV8840. In the DS, VCP cap value is recommended as a 16V ceramic cap.
I'm assuming that VCP-VM voltage is around 10V. Therefore 16V is recommended with margin?

Hi Kitajima-san,
Yes, the VCP-VM voltage is ~10V. The voltage rating of 16V provides the necessary margin.
Also, please note the 1MOhm resistor in parallel with VCP is optional.
The faster discharge allows the motor to exit brake mode when entering sleep mode.
