DRV8834: Decay mode at Itrip

Hi all

Would you mind if we ask DRV8834?

<Question1>

We would like to confirm the decay mode at Itrip.

In case of Itrip, the decay mode is mixed decay.

It doesn't configure the any decay mode.

Is our recognition correct?

<Question2>

In spite of M1 setting(high or low), in case of Itrip, the decay will be mixed decay.

    Matsumoto-san,

    Q1: A 10 μA (typical) internal current source is on the xDECAY pins. if leave xDECAY pin open, xDECAY pin is higher than 2V and set fast decay mode.

    Q2: M0/M1 pin setting (micro-step mode setting) is not related to xDECAY pin setting. If you leave xDECAY pin open, DRV8834 is set to fast decay mode which is not related to M0/M1 setting.
