DRV8872-Q1: UVLO in full temperature range

Hi, team,

My customer used DRV8872-Q1 in OBC system. They use device UVLO as some fault reporting threshold.

In datasheet, only 25C data is marked, could you supply the UVLO typical and temperature curve? The temperature range is -40~125C.

Hi Johnny,

The Typical number is for Ta=25C, VM=24V.

The max number is over recommended operating conditions.

My question is what is the UVLO typical when temperature is not 25C, like -40C, 0C, 85C, 125C.

Hi Johnny,

Why is the typically value important at other temperatures?

The max value is the important value.

When VM falls below "VM falls until UVLO triggers" max value, any device may enter undervoltage lockout.

When VM rises above "VM rises until operation recovers" max value, all device have exited undervoltage lockout.

Rick,

Customer will set DRV8872-Q1 UVLO typical as one fault reporting voltage, so they require for UVLO in all temperature range to make this fault voltage accurate with DRV8872-Q1 working status.
