Hi team,

Which mode should I choose?  In other word, what applications are mode 0 and mode1 suitable for? What's the benefits of mode 0 and mode 1?

    Thanks for posting this question in MD forum.

    Choose mode 0 when the speed and the load on the motor is constant. In this mode, the commutate advance time (lead time) is fixed and constant. 

    Choose mode 1 when the speed and load on the motor is changing dynamically. In this mode, the device continuously monitors the phase difference between the BEMF voltage and phase current, and adjusts the lead time between the phase voltage and BEMF voltage depending on the changes in speed and load.
