DRV2605EVM-CT: the ERM does not vibrate

Hi Team

After USB connection and power on, enter Mode Off mode, touch B1 and B2, the ERM does not vibrate. No matter what mode is switched, there is no movement in the ERM, but everything is normal for the linear motor.
I have tried to apply voltage to the end of the ERM, and the motor does not rotate. And I apply the same voltage to another ERM of the same model, and it rotates normally. In this way, it can be judged that the ERM has problem.Please help to confirm.Thanks

thanks for reaching out.

Based on what you have done it does seem the ERM is the problem. You can also try making a connection between the output of the non working ERM and the working one and then try the different modes on the board and see if the working ERM reacts, this would double confirm that the broken ERM is just broken. I will look into anything else that could be causing this issue

This ERM was likely defective when manufactured.

I will personal message you for more details regarding a replacement, no return of the board you have now is necessary.
