DRV8705S-Q1EVM: drv8705s CSA ctrl register values required.

Hi Team,

Iam unable to receive the current analog value from driver.

i connected load across SH1 & SH2 still i dont see the analog value in my adc channel.

what could be issue . can you brief about CSA_ctrl register value which are mandatory.

    Hello,

    Can you please send me a picture of the device on the EVM?  A clear picture please where I can read all the markings on the top side of the device.  

    We had an issue with some EVMs that would have been delivered between the May-July 2020 timeframe where the CSA was unintentionally disabled on the device populated on the EVM.  

    I will be able to tell from the part markings if that is the issue and then we can get you a new EVM.

    Hi Ryan,

    We have bought & placed drv8705s - q1 chips on our board(project specific) & using it , not evaluation board. Is issue in chip or its evaluation board chips.

    Please confirm.

    Sravan,

    It is an issue with how the device was configured during the timeframe I mentioned before.  Those devices we had in stock during that time and the devices placed on the EVM were impacted.  

    The issue has since been resolved.
