DRV8833: Not able to enter Low Power Mode

When I set the nSleep pin of DRV8833 to "Low" state, the AIN1/AIN2/BIN1/BIN2 not able to reset to logic "0" and keep logic "1" forever, causing the stepper motor spinning continuously. Eventually, the motor will be heated up and burned out the plastic case.

Could you give me some suggestions or comments why it happened?

In sleep mode, inputs xIN1/xIN2 will be ignored and outputs will be disabled. Could you check if nSLEEP is really pulling down? And the motor connection is correct?
