could you please confirm if the DRV2511 has DC output protection?

In the datasheet, it says nothing about this.

Hi, Stefan,

Yes, there's no mention about the DC output protection. However, the DC output events result in overcurrent issues. The device goes into shutdown mode to protect itself from overcurrent events.
