HI team,

The use of DRV11873 to drive brushless motor encountered several problems looking for guidance from the team.

1. Control the motor with DRV11873EVM circuit diagram. PWM speed regulation of the motor cannot be controlled under the condition of power on.

2.FR motor direction cannot be controlled during operation. It is hoped that the motor can be controlled to change direction with a simple circuit.

    1. Control the motor with DRV11873EVM circuit diagram. PWM speed regulation of the motor cannot be controlled under the condition of power on.

    Not sure what is meant by this. Have you seen monitored the PWM pin to see if the 555 timer is outputing a PWM waveform? The potentiometer will control the duty cycle on PWM to the devices after power up, as shown in the user guide.

    2.FR motor direction cannot be controlled during operation. It is hoped that the motor can be controlled to change direction with a simple circuit.

    FR is latched at power up and cannot be changed during motor operation.

    The DRV10974 is pretty similar but has this feature.
