Can customer use DRV8705 charge pump for external load, i.e. turn on battery reverse protection FET?

Can they use VCP pin to control the FET?

If yes what is the max charge current supplied from VCP pin?

    Hey Viktorija,

    Yes, this is possible and shown in Figure 42 of the datasheet.  We also implemented the circuit required on our EVM.  Please see the EVM schematics in the EVM tool folder under "hardware files".

    The max. current is 15mA.
