DRV8428: DRV8428

Part Number: DRV8428

Hi,

I am evaluating our board design with DRV8428 on it. We noticed an issue - when the motor trying to rotate sometimes has a high pitch noise. Once the high pitch noise occurred, the motor will not rotate. The noise usually stays for a few seconds, the motor will start to rotate once the noise went away. After checked all the pins, I saw the M1 pin is not behaving as expected. *Please see the attached waveform for details.

We used the same software with TI EVM and do not see the same issue, can you please let me know if you have any advice?

Our setting:-

Input - 16.5V

1/128 step

DECAY/TOFF - 0

VREF - 1.833V (I = 0.611A)

STEP - 63kHz, 50% duty cycle
