Some question about 2510:

1 datasheet show single ended source application

how to realize the self bias , if the output is like below shown(have is positive ,half is negetive), how to control the bias voltage , ,the input wave should use bias voltage as nominal ? the relationship of A &B is control by Gain?

2 about the differential input application ,

how to control the wave input ,if we want get the output that shown in last picture

3 the PWM output is 400Khz or 500Khz ,can't be adjust to other frequency?

Could you reattach your pictures in order to have a better approach to questions 1. and 2.

Regarding the question 3., yes the PWM switching frequency can be adjusted with register 0x03 / bit 0.

about question 3 ,

my question is whether the PWM requency canbe adjust to other .such 50khz ,or more low ?

Hi, Hui,

Please take a look at my responses below and let me know if you have additional questions or comments.

1.- The DRV2510-Q1 includes a common-mode input voltage set at 3V when the input AC-coupling capacitors are connected. Your input signal can be then in the range of -3V to 3V.

2.- The input signal can be controlled in the way you find convenient for your solution. Just keep in mind that the input will be in range of -3V to 3V as mentioned before and the output will be the result of (IN+ minus IN-) x GAIN.

3.- No, the PWM frequency cannot be adjusted to other frequencies. It is limited to the two options: 400KHz and 500KHz.

about single ended application, now we have one singal from MCU is a positive signal such as 0~5V , we want output be positive &negetive sine wave(-5~5V), can it be realized by 2510 ?

Hi, Hui,

Unfortunately, a positive signal from 0V - 5V will only generate a positive sine wave. This case actually is the one mentioned in section 8.2.1 of the datasheet ( https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/drv2510-q1.pdf#page=20 ). As shown in the 8.2.1.3 application curves, the output will be only a positive portion ( https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/drv2510-q1.pdf#page=22 ).

It will be necessary to provide a differential signal to output the positive and negative portions.
