Dear experts,

I have a question regarding the control software of the DRV8343H-Q1EVM.

In this control software the input pwm signal frequency is limited between 10 and 40 KHz.

For my application, I want to drive the motor with a signal around 100 Hz.

I am able to program the wanted frequency using code composer, however I cannot enable the driver chip using the standard GUI software.

Is there a way I can either adjust the pwm frequency range in the GUI software or enable the driver chip with the preprogrammed correct PWM frequency?

Hi Hans,

We are having severe inclement weather in Dallas and multiple team members are without power. Please be patient with our response here.

One quick method to get around this would be to remove R27 from the board and force 3.3V/5.0V manually onto the "EN" pin of H3. You can derive 3.3V from a 3.3V red testpoint at the top of H3.

I will await the answer to hear if it is possible to adjust the standard GUI software of TI to have a pwm signal of ~100 Hz.

Hans,

Likely it would be much easier to wire in a function generator or USB2ANY to the PWM input, I don't think we can run the PWM at 100Hz with the existing hardware/firmware/GUI easily.
