We were using motor driver from Allegro MicroSystems (A4952ELYTR-T) in one of the project. Now customer wants to change the motor driver to DRV8816, and should work with existing firmware. I have compared control interface table and found both are having the same control logic. We will be making the EN x pin high and control the direction of motor through INx pins.
We would like to know whether the DRV8816 will work without PWM input.
