DRV2605LEVM-MD: Port the DRV2605LEVM-MD Firmware v1.3 (Rev. A) from the product page of DRV2605LEVM-MD to Arduino Mega

Part Number: DRV2605LEVM-MD

Hi Team,

Our customer would like to control the DRV2605LEVM-MD using Arduino Mega and had tapped to the I2C connector (3 pin connector) shown in Figure 23 schematic diagram of the User's Guide in the link below. R61 and R62 resistors were remove to disconnect the I2C signals from the MSP430F5510IRGC microcontroller.

Can he port the DRV2605LEVM-MD Firmware v1.3 (Rev. A) from the product page of DRV2605LEVM-MD to Arduino? If not, do we have a source code to control the TCA9554PWR and TCA9548APW?

Regards,

Danilo

  • Hello Danilo,

The customer is welcome to try to port the firmware over to an Arduino but I don't think we would be able to help in that process. The control of TCA9554PWR and TCA9548APW is fairly simple and covered well in their respective datasheets, so it may be easier to implement the functionality desired directly.

    Best Regards,
