DRV8313: Pspice Simulation

Hello Team

I want to simulate DRV8313 in pspice environment. I don't know how to use the shared IBIS file for this. I am using Pspice in ORCAD environment. Can I add the IBIS file directly as Spice? Is there something about this like a guide and converter program?

Thank you for posting to the MD forum!

I will need to investigate internally and do some research about compatibility between IBIS and Spice models. I will provide an update tomorrow and try to finalize an answer by the week.

Hi Huseyin,

It seems that IBIS models only model steady state behavior and impedance on the device's pins in order to simulate signal integrity and noise performance. However, since there is not information that describes connections in the IC, it cannot be used for SPICE modeling. A DRV8313 SPICE model will have to be developed from scratch. There may be IBIS to SPICE converters available, but Texas Instruments does not have any.
