Genius 4090 points
Part Number: DRV8305-Q1

When PVDD ramp up slowly around 8V,nFault assert one time.

They checked resister map through SPI in this time ,but resister is empty.

Question1

They would like to know why resister is empty .

Question2

If they checked resister map through SPI and then they can't find warning content,

can they think this is no problem ?

Please advise what action should they do in this case.

regards,

  • Hi Kura,

Most of our devices will assert nFAULT as they power ON to indicate that they have successfully gone through power-up. In this case I don't think any fault register will be set because it is expected behavior. So it sounds like no problem is occurring.

    Thanks,

    Matt
