DRV8842 1M ohms resistor on VCP terminal

Hi,

I have a question about resistor on VCP terminal of DRV8842.

On the latest datasheet, 1M ohms resistor on VCP terminal has been added.  However, our production has been started without the resistor.  Is there any influence for device or motor control?  What is merit for adding the resistor?

    We have found phenomenon in our DRV8x charge-pump based ICs that OUT1 and OUT2 might be shorted after VM power off or in sleep, because VM cap holds the voltage. This causes difficulty to rotate the motor by hand or other means in power-off or sleep modes.

    1 Mohm resistor helps to discharge the VCP cap to resolve above issue. This addition is only to solve the power-off or sleep mode issue, but does not impact the normal running operation of motor.
