DRV8305: IC and VDRAIN resistor burnt at high current

Part Number: DRV8305

Hello,

When I increase our maximum phase current, the IC and VDRAIN resistor burn.

It is a custom board based on the design of DRV8305-Q1EVM Hardware Files

I've monitored ( /!\ all in AC to gain resolution on my scope, DC was 36V)

1)PVDD at the PVDD side of the resistor VDRAIN

2)VDRAIN

3)PVDD filtered with the otpionnal PI filter as in the DRV8305-Q1EVM:

as you can see here:

When the IC burn it gives that:

Grinded:

We are still testing for more measures on other signals to have better clues.

But, at first sight, does this rings a bell to any one?

Thanks in advance
