Part Number: DRV8839EVM
I am driving and inductive load wth the DRV8839EVM board at 125kHz. At the output transition from Low to High I measure a dead time of at least 400ns, whil at the transition from High to Low I measure 150ns.
What is to be expected ? The spec only gives me a 100ns typical.

The dead time of DRV8839 is 100ns typically. We measured the dead time as below circuit, look at the Out1 waveform and the frequency is 10kHz:
Measure result as :
when the Out1 start increasing from low to high until half of VM, it mean that the low side begin to turn off while the high side not turn on yet. The dead time is about 94.4ns:
When the Out1 start decreasing from high to low to the half of VM, it mean the high side begin to turn off while the low side not turn on yet. The dead time is about 129.6ns:
The measure results are match with datasheet spec.
