DRV8843EVM: Can this EVM drive a stepper motor from the GUI? (using DRV8843)

Part Number: DRV8843EVM

I have a DRV8843EVM, and I am trying to test driving a stepper motor. I'm noticing the GUI for the EVM seems to have limited options for controlling the device on the 41-43 tab. Is it even possible to drive a stepper motor using this GUI / EVM?

Hi Caitlyn,

It is possible to drive a stepper with the EVM, but not the GUI.

Either the code in the mcu would have to be modified, or an external mcu can be used to control the DRV8843.
