Hi,

Now I try to drive TEC, the power is about 24V/10A. want to use PWM solution to drive it, I found that SLUA202A document describe it.

My question is that

-It can work with 24V?

-If I change MOSFET bigger, it can support higher current?

-Is there any simple application than the circuit in the Figure 3 of the SLUA202A document?

Best Regards,
Kent

  • Hi Kent,

    My question is that

    -It can work with 24V?

Yes, it can work at 24V. If you have multiple supply voltages, consider modifying the circuit for split rail operation as shown in Figure 1 of the datasheet.

-If I change MOSFET bigger, it can support higher current?

    Yes.

-Is there any simple application than the circuit in the Figure 3 of the SLUA202A document?

Please consider the DRV8432 as an alternative. The device has integrated FETs, but requires more external control logic.
