DRV2603: ERM motors - Can the DRV2603 support 1.8V?

Hello - We are only finding ERM motors @ 1.8VDC but we are not clear as to whether the DRV2603 driver can support this lower voltage. When we first looked at these haptics a year ago it was with 3VDC motors. Also, do you have drivers for the LRA versions?

Hi Dan,

All of our drivers (DRV2603, DRV2604, DRV2604L, DRV2624...ect) can support this voltage range. The drivers can support any voltage range that is below the supply voltage rail minus about 0.4V. You need some headroom for the amplifier. These drivers are also designed to drive LRAs with auto-resonance tracking for best performance.
