DRV8662: questions about the input and output characteristics

Part Number: DRV8662
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM48580

Hi team,

If the customer's design needs PWM input and +- 30V output to drive buzzer to achieve 3m/92dB, can the DRV8662 reach that specification?

(How does DRV8662 provide negative 30 volts?)

Or do you have a better recommendation solution?

The user's guide indicate that "The DRV8662 requires either a low-pass filtered PWM waveform or an analog signal to drive piezo loads."

Does this mean that any pizeo driver can support PWM inputs (such as LM48580) just have to add a low-pass filter in front of the driver?

If that is true, why there is no LM48580 in the product options that can support PWM input on the ti.com?

Do we have a product similar to the following that does not require a filter to implement the PWM input?

Thanks!

Best regards,

Jamie
