Hi sir

our customer use DRV10974 to design as air purifier，now meet above question need you help to check it and give some suggetions how to dubug it,tks!

quetions: when use the negative ion generator(datasheet as attachment)，the motor cannot start up or need to start multiple times to be normal，however，if delete the negative ion generator，the motor will be start up normal爱唯科YFD-123L-004 AKJ050GE-CA 1020300015.pdf

Hey Darren,

I would suggest the below:

1) The simplest solutions is put a faraday cage around the DRV10974 IC that will protect the DRV10974 IC from the negative ions.
2) To actually see why the motor is not starting up, I think giving an oscilloscope capture of the following pins would help: PWM, FG, Phase voltages, phase currents. Then we can see if a fault condition is happening.
