Hi Sakai-san,

For n_ITRIP, the minimum pulldown value is ~62.5kOhms

For nOL, the minimum pullup value is ~250kOhms.

Because many of these pins have pulldowns, it is recommended to set the inputs low when in sleep mode to reduce current consumption.

This information will be added to a future datasheet update.

I have an additional question.
My customer is trying to design to change settings.
Therefore, They are trying to connect an external pull-up(or pull-down) resistor on the nOL and nITRIP pins.
How much can the sink/source current of the nOL and nITRIP pins flow?

Hi Sakai-san,

The current depends on the input voltage.
For n_ITRIP, the current will be as much as Vn_ITRIP/62.5kOhms assuming n_ITRIP is connected to a low impedance source.
For nOL, the current will be as much as VnOL/250kOhms assuming n_ITRIP is connected to a low impedance source.

I have an additional question.
Our customer want to design to switch the input voltage High /Low of DRV8873H nITRIP and nOL pins.
Therefore, They plan to place 0ohm resistor externally to switch DVDD or GND.

I believe that the method of switching DVDD or GND by adding or removing resistor is no problem. Is it correct?

You are correct. There is no problem switching DVDD or GND by adding or removing resistors.
