DRV8353: can drv8353 drive mutiple MOS on each phase

Hi Team,

my customer need drv8353 to drive mutiple MOS on each phase to get large output current, is this workable for drv8353? Do you have some document or guideline on this?

    Sunny,

    We don't have an official document but here are the general guidelines:

    Use of parallel FETs on a single gate line is acceptable if gate resistors are used. These series resistors (one per gate/FET) and IDRIVE strength should be tuned such that minimal overshoot and undershoot is observed when monitoring the gate-to-source voltage of each FET while switching. Gate resistors are recommended in this situation to damp gate-source ringing if one or more FETs switches ON with different timing.
