Would it be possible to program the maximum current bellow the minimum table entry of 1.4A?

Hi Ivan,

Please refer to the thread: https://e2e.ti.com/support/motor-drivers/f/38/t/355575 . We have not performed any additional studies so the recommended upper limit is still 200kOhms.

The DRV8412 and DRV8432 have similar specifications.

Have you considered adding an inline current sensor like an INA194 or similar to monitor the current?
