Hi, DRV8886 support team
My customer ask me how to control using the command line to do the cycle testing.
Do you have any idea to use the command line instead of GUI Tool?
What do they mean the command line? Does it mean the hardware pin control.
And what is the cycle test? Why cannot use the GUI tool?

I know that the GUI Tool has the "Reciprocate" mode. But the control pattern of this mode is very simple. The customer want to operate continuously with the complex control patterns.
The cycle testing is similar to the life testing.
The MSP430 is embedded in DRV8886EVM. Can the customer control using MSP Flasher instead of the MSP430 on the EVM?

DRV8886EVM firmware code is available in https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/slvc680
The firmware is uploaded to DRV8886EVM's MSP430F2617TPM to control the DRV8886. Customers can install TI code composer studio and edit the firmware. I hope that can help them do their command line interface.
