Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV2510-Q1
Hi Team,
For DRV2510-Q1 EVM, could we generate sin wave from MPS430 and how to realize it?
If the input of DRV2510-Q1 is sin wave, the output should still be square wave, right?
Thank you!
Marc

Hi, Marc,
The DRV2510-Q1 EVM has a WaveBuilder option that you may use to create and develop your own waveforms from the MSP430. It actually has triangle and sine predefined waveforms.
The DRV2510-Q1 has an integrated PWM logic block. The analog input is then translated to a PWM format with a configured frequency of 400 or 500 Khz of oscillation frequency. The analog output will be then a sine wave output in PWM format.
Please let me know if you have additional questions or comments.
