DRV2603: Can DRV2603 be used with ERM vibration motor which is is non haptic feedback type?

Hello,

I want to use DRV2603 to drive a vibration motor 306-114 from precision micro devices, which is not haptic feedback type. I just want to know that I can use DRV2603 to drive the motor. (Or) Is it specifically designed to drive Haptic feedback type ERM vibration motor?. Please let us know.

Hi, Muthu,

There shouldn't be any issue handling this motor as ERM load. I didn't find a limitation on its specs. Usually, for ERM loads the only limitations are related to the impedance, but I see the impedance value is 26.5 ohms, so it is not a problem for this device.
