DRV11873EVM: Need to make the motor run at slower RPM like 2Hz or 1.5 Hz ,but currently it is stalling below 40% PWM duty cycle

Part Number: DRV11873EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV10983, DRV10987, DRV11873, DRV10970

Hello,

I am using DRV11873evm to run a 12V BLDC motor. The PWM frequency I am using is 36KHZ. The FS pin setting is for 125 KHZ. The motor is running alright till 40% duty cycle with which I can achieve 2.5HZ rotational frequency. But I have a requirement to run the motor at slower , basically 2 Hz( 120 RPM) for which I need to decrease the duty cycle to even lower 30% approximately. But When I decrease the duty cycle below 40%, the motor used to stall( discontinuity in rotation) in between. I would like to know what needs to be done to make the motor run at this slower RPM like 2Hz or may be 1.5HZ.

Is there any pin settings that need to be changed?

Looking forward for your reply.

Thanks,

Siddharth
