DRV8301: Does the "n" in nFAULT mean "not"?

Part Number: DRV8301

The data sheet says "The nFAULT pin indicates when a shutdown event has occurred. These events include overcurrent, overtemperature, overvoltage, or undervoltage. Note that nFAULT is an open-drain signal. nFAULT will go high when the gate driver is ready for PWM inputs during start-up"

Is this to say that, the pin goes low when there IS a fault, and under normal conditions, the pin is high? In general, when an output pin on the datasheet is prefixed with the letter "n", is it intended to convey "not"? For instance, the pin nOCTW is high when there is NOT overcurrent / temperature warning?
