BOOST-DRV8711: Simultaneous use of four pieces of BOOST-DRV8711 and one pieces of arduino due and Repetier-Firmware

I’m going to make a CNC machine with four pieces of BOOST-DRV8711 and one pieces of arduino due and Repetier-Firmware.
Please advise on how to connect four BOOST-DRV8711 pieces to arduino due and how to add a library to Repetier-Firmware and its settings.
What micro-step do you recommend for the CNC machine? 1/256 is good?

Hi Abolfazl,

We can offer some basic advise, but are not familiar with the arduino and firmware you are attempting to use.

Hardware:

You can connect many of the signals of the boards in parallel, such at SLEEPn, SDATI, SCLK, SDATO, RESET, FAULTn (if used), and STALLn (if used). Other signals like SCS, STEP, DIR should each be connected separately.

Firmware:

Another tip is to get one board up and running before adding the other three.

I think I should use another Arduino board next to the main Arduino board to configuration the BOOST-DRV8711 drivers.

Connect SCS, SLEEPn, SDATI, SCLK, SDATO, RESET in parallel to the sub-board for configuration and STEP, DIR separately to the main board for CNC control.
Does this work?
