Hi Team,
I want to control a capacitive load with the drv2667.
Is it possible to create non-symmetric signals like sawtooth or rectangle profiles?

Hi, Liu,
The DRV2667 has two options to create the output signals. PWM input signal or Waveform Synthesizer.
For these signals, the best approach will be through a PWM input signal. In that way, you could send the sawtooth or rectangle profiles in PWM format and the circuit will amplify it and drive the capacitive load.
In case of the waveform synthesizer, it can be only used to create your effect with sinusoidal signals. You can use the WaveSynthesizer tool in the haptics control console for more details. However, I don't think it will be useful for the application you are looking for.
Please let me know if you have additional questions or commets.

Hi Luis,
Thank you for your response.
The PWM seems to be more appropriate. But the problem I still see is that the two output channels cannot be controlled independently. That means I cannot create a sawtooth signal with changing halfwaves like in the attached schema (positive, negative positive,...). Is that right?

Hi, Liu,
Thank you for your response. Sorry, for some reason I was not able to track your response these days due to some conflicts with the e2e notifications.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to control the output channels independently as you are trying to achieve, so the sawtooth signals cannot be created as you showed in your attached file.
Please let me know if you have additional questions or comments on this.
