Can the DRV10987 control the positive and negative rotation of the motor by register?
Hi,
There is a DIR pin on DRV10987 that controls the direction of the motor:
When low, phase driving sequence is U → V → W
When high, phase driving sequence is U → W → V
Connect the DIR pin to your microcontroller, and be sure not to force more than 3.6V on the DIR pin as this could damage the device.
Thanks,
Michael
Can I configure the IIC slave address?
Hi,
The DRV10987 has Flexible User Interface Options:
– I 2C Interface: Access Registers for Command and Feedback.
Please see datasheet for more details.
Thanks,
Michael
I mean is it possible to change the slave address? Are you changing the address?I have multiple IIC devices on my IIC bus
Hi,
I hope this answer is more clear. It is not possible with this device to configure the IIC slave address. We’ve considered this and our next gen devices will have this feature.
Thanks,
Michael
Hello,
There are external solutions for implementing multiple I2C devices on the same bus, the easiest way to do this is implementing an I2C MUX: https://www.ti.com/interface/i2c/switches-and-multiplexers/products.html
